Thank you Curt and good luck!!!!

Curt, Kurtan, Forsa-Kurre, Captain Curt or Cortison. So many names on a loved horse.

After 11 years together Curt has now moved on to a Canadian Young Rider!

I want to thank you Curt for all you've done for me! It has been a fantastic journey and I will always be grateful for everything you taught me!

I think Curt will always be THE most special horse for me! He has a very special character, and is really the cutest with his sometimes silly ideas. It has been joyful to see his personality changing, from shy and introvert to super proud while doing his job!
We have done a LOT together. It has been ups and downs and I'm sure Curt has made me the  person I am today. For sure he has taught me patience, to be persistent and also to be humble. He has made me a better horse person. And of course a better rider.

Four years ago I almost gave up on him, very frustrating times, but then my sister's fantastic farrier stepped in and since then he has been going strong! How many times did we drive to south of Sweden together, with Hector as a co-driver? How many shows have we been to? Finally I also put him on a plane and brought him all the way to the US. Here he has also already been back and forth from New York to Florida twice!

First time I saw Curt he was 3 weeks old, showing his spectacular canter on the field. When he was 6 years old I bought him. Since then we have showed many many times and won many many ribbons. He has been a fantastic horse for small tour. We showed a few times in Intermediate B. We also did a GP kur on a schooling show. We won bronze in Swedish championships for teams twice. We have showed several international shows which also gave us a few ribbons! We were long listed by the Swedish federation.

There are also so many people that I want to thank and I really don't want to forget anyone!!! Thank you Hellas for letting me buy him. Thank you "team Skane" for making him sound for me at the tough times: Peter Glimberg, Silvana Grass, Maritta Hallenborg and my sister Lisa. Thank you Lussan Nathhorst and Eva Perninge for all the training at Hogsta! Thank you Chris Von Martels for all the training here in US! Also thank you Eric Taddeo and Laura Stokes-Greene for keeping him healthy and well shoed!

To pass Curt along has not been an easy task. At times I have been thinking about just retiring him, but he is so sound and happy to work so I think as long as he wants to go he should keep going! It has also not been easy to find a rider that rides good enough but still can enjoy him as a school master. I also know he needs to stay in a very professional program! Finally I've found the right rider for him!

Curt's new job is with the talented young rider Hannah Beaulieu. She works and trains with Ashley Holzer so I know he will be in very good hands. Good thing is also that he won't be very far from me! From the bottom of my heart I wish them best of luck! I hope they will have fun and get lots of success!!!
